Learning Objectives–Participants will be able to:
1. Describe 3 ways they have held themselves back from inventing their own play therapy techniques.
2. Increase their willingness to give themselves permission to invent their own play therapy techniques.
3. Invent play therapy techniques designed for specific clients and articulate how these techniques will benefit those clients.
4. Take techniques developed by other play therapists, adapt them to the particular needs of specific clients, and articulate how these techniques will benefit those clients.
5. Systematically conceptualize clients as a part of the process of developing and customizing play therapy techniques.
