If you are interested in becoming a Registered Play Therapist or a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Iowa, I would love to talk about providing supervision for you. Depending on your needs as a counselor, I can provide guidance as you conceptualize your clients and their issues from various theoretical orientations, generate therapeutic intervention strategies for specific clients, develop treatment goals and objectives. Sometimes your own issues interfere with your optimal performance as a therapist, and I can create a safe space for you to explore these issues. I often use art techniques, coaching, play therapy and sand tray techniques, and other exciting stuff in my supervision, so be prepared to learn and have fun at the very same time.

Supervision is available in several different formats — in person, by telephone consultation, or through watching videotaped counseling sessions.

Individual supervision: $120 per hour

Group supervision: $65 per person per hour for two supervisees

$50 per person per hour for more than two supervisees

There is no way that I could write about your contributions to my world of play therapy in two sentences. I found the Encouragement Zone in May, 2000 when I was closing in on a master's degree in counseling.
