Kate Haberman, LISW, MFT, RPT, has 15 years of experience working with children and families. With some field experience investigating child abuse, Kate began working with high risk teens in the inner city of Milwaukee. Kate has expertise working with couples and families, sexuality, attachment and generational anxiety. After receiving her Masters in Social Work and Marriage and Family Therapy Certificate from UW-Milwaukee, Kate moved to Iowa and worked as a residential Therapist at Bremwood. From there, Kate began providing individual, family and group therapy at MidIowa Family Therapy. Kate then opened her own private practice and worked towards her RPT. Kate now is the co-owner and clinical director of Monarch Therapy Services and has recently launched a Trauma and Attachment Team program within the agency. Kate has trained under Dr. Kottman and Holly Van Gulden. Kate is a foster and adoptive parent and is on the Allison Area Foster Parent Association Board of Directors. Kate is married and has a 5 year old daughter and 1 year old twins.
